The peas have been growing happily for several weeks (check out the picture of the very first CSG vegetable below!), and our Memorial Day planting party resulted in the addition of tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, potatoes (thanks to Noelle and Julie Cataldo for supplying and planting the spuds!) and melons to the Central School Gardeners organic garden. At our last meeting of the school year on June 9th, we will be planting more seedlings as well as lettuce and carrots. Scroll down to see how our garden continues to grow!
